Plan Ahead & Prepare
We handle all logistics so you arrive prepared. Proper planning prevents resource damage and ensures a safe, enjoyable experience.
Travel on Durable Surfaces
We guide guests to established viewpoints and trails. Protecting fragile alpine vegetation means staying on designated paths.
Dispose of Waste Properly
Pack it in, pack it out. We carry out all trash and encourage guests to do the same. The lake's pristine beauty depends on it.
Leave What You Find
Rocks, flowers, artifacts—they belong here. Taking "souvenirs" removes the very beauty that makes this place special.
Minimize Campfire Impacts
Open fires are prohibited at Moraine Lake. We use insulated containers for hot beverages, leaving no fire scars.
Respect Wildlife
We maintain safe distances, never feed animals, and educate guests about wildlife behavior. Bears, elk, and other animals deserve undisturbed habitats.
Be Considerate of Others
We keep voices low at sunrise viewpoints, yield to other visitors, and help create a peaceful experience for everyone.

Reduced Vehicle Impact
Our shuttle model means fewer individual cars on the road. One van replaces 10-14 private vehicles, reducing emissions and congestion.
Small Group Sizes
Maximum 14 guests per tour minimizes our footprint at viewpoints and allows for meaningful education about conservation.
Zero Single-Use Plastics
We provide reusable cups for hot beverages. No plastic water bottles, straws, or disposable containers on our tours.
GROSCHE Partnership
Every tour funds clean water access through our GROSCHE Safe Water Project partnership. Tourism that gives back globally.
Education First
Our guides share conservation messages throughout the tour. Informed visitors become advocates for protection.

Acknowledging the Original Stewards
Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks sit within the traditional territories of the Stoney Nakoda Nations. The Nakoda people have been stewards of this land for thousands of years, and the Ten Peaks bear their original Nakoda names. We operate with deep respect for this heritage and are committed to learning from and supporting Indigenous-led conservation efforts. This place is not just a destination—it is Îyârhe Nakoda, a sacred healing place.
