Cancellation, Re-booking and Refunds

When you book a tour online, you reserve your seats for a specific date and time. We operate rain or shine (or snow) and do not accept cancellations for “bad weather.” Please refer to our FAQ page to read about how to prepare for the Moraine Lake & Lake Louise elements! We have umbrellas available for each guest and will do our best to keep you comfortable if the weather is less than ideal.

Missed Tours

The departure time noted on your booking receipt is the time that the shuttle leaves your pickup location. You must be ready to board the shuttle at least 5 minutes before departure time. If you are not ready to board the shuttle before the departure time on your booking, the shuttle will leave without you, you will be considered a no-show and no refund or credit will be issued. The shuttle is not required to wait if all or part of your party is not ready. If you have any concerns about arriving late to your pickup location, reach out via email at bookings@morainelakesunriseshuttle.com or contact us at the number provided on your booking receipt. While phone calls will not be answered in the early morning, you can still leave a message (we receive notifications) or you may text and explain your circumstance. We may be able to direct you to an alternate pickup location or wait for you.     It is at the discretion of our shuttle drivers/manager to determine if they can wait or pickup at an alternate location. We take our shuttle schedule seriously and respect our guests’ schedules. The sunrise waits for no one!

It is your responsibility to return to the shuttle vehicle at the end of each tour. Your driver will give you a departure time upon arrival. Please be advised that Moraine Lake has limited to no cell phone service. If you miss your return shuttle, you will be obligated to find an alternate way back to your pickup location and it will be at your own expense. The Moraine Lake Lodge has phone service and can be of assistance, as well as Parks Canada staff who are located by the lakeshore in the Parks Canada hut. This applies to the Lake Louise portion of our Dual Lakes Experience tour. You will be given a departure time by your driver and will be expected back to the shuttle in time to leave.

RMPA Ltd and Moraine Lake Sunrise Shuttle assumes no responsibility for missed departures or late returns. Guests acknowledge that when booking our tours, they are responsible for adhering to times given and if missed, they assume the financial and logistical issues with securing transport back to their pickup locations.

-a full refund of all monies paid for the cancelled tour.

Travel Policies

Children under the age of 6 are required to sit in a child safety seat, by law in Alberta.

Children 2-6 years of age are required to sit in a front-facing child safety seat. Guests must reach out via email to request a seat for their child/ren. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify us that they require a child safety seat. Drivers can and will refuse vehicle boarding if the guest’s child required a safety seat and one was not prearranged. In such a case, you and anyone in your group that cannot join due to this oversight will be considered “missed,” and will not be given a refund.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 2 years old, as they require a rear-facing child safety seat that our vehicles cannot accommodate.

You will not be permitted to hold children of any age on your lap or on your person.

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

If RMPA Ltd and Moraine Lake Sunrise Shuttle are prevented or restricted directly or indirectly from carrying out all or any of its obligations under these terms and conditions for any cause beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including (without limiting the generality of the foregoing) war, civil commotion, riot, strikes, lockouts, fire, explosion, floods and acts of God (each a Force Majeure event), RMPA Ltd shall be relieved of its obligations hereunder for the period of the Force Majeure event. In such cases, RMPA Ltd. shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of any of its obligations for any loss or damages which the other/affected party may suffer due to or resulting from any such delay or failure, provided that written notice of the inability to perform is given by RMPA Ltd. and Moraine Lake Sunrise Shuttle within 48 hours of the commencement of the Force Majeure event.
