What to Wear

Dress in layers. Mountain mornings start cold (5-10°C / 40-50°F) but warm up quickly once the sun rises. We recommend: base layer, warm fleece or jacket, windproof outer layer, long pants, closed-toe shoes.

Physical Requirements

This tour involves light walking on maintained trails and viewpoints. Suitable for most fitness levels. The Rockpile Trail at Moraine Lake has some stairs but offers the best viewpoint.

The Moraine Lake Sunrise Tour focuses solely on Moraine Lake. The Glacier Lakes Sunrise Tour includes Moraine Lake PLUS Bow Lake (with breakfast) and Peyto Lake—three lakes instead of one.

The tour operates June through mid-October. Peak season (July-August) offers the warmest temperatures, while shoulder seasons (June, September-October) offer fewer crowds and dramatic fall colours.

Yes! We partner with a local roaster to create exclusive lake-themed blends. You can purchase bags to take home as a souvenir.

Our commercial license grants access even when Moraine Lake Road is closed to public vehicles. You'll experience the lake without the usual crowds.

As a 2026 launch, we're committed to delivering everything promised, but we may refine details like our breakfast partner or coffee blends as we perfect the experience. If any changes affect your booking, we'll notify you immediately. Plus, you can switch to our Moraine Lake or Dual Lakes tour anytime before departure and receive a full refund of the price difference.

Full refund (minus $15/guest admin fee) if you cancel 7 or more days before your tour. Under 7 days, bookings are non-refundable but you can reschedule for free up to 48 hours before departure. As an extra benefit for this new tour, you can also switch to another tour anytime and get the price difference refunded.
